You don't need an LED screen
The pro LED screens make sense in one case: a window in full, direct sunlight where you need blinding brightness. For a shaded window, a counter, or an indoor display, a tablet's screen is perfectly readable. Spending four figures before testing the idea makes no sense — start with what's in your drawer.

- An old tablet, spare smartphone or any screen with a browser (even an old TV).
- A charger kept plugged in (a display runs all day).

How do I keep the screen on and fullscreen?
Plug the device in to charge, open the window page, tap the screen once (it goes fullscreen and tries to keep the display awake). In the tablet's settings, set sleep to “never”.
What's the difference with a real LED window screen?
An LED screen mainly helps in direct sunlight, behind a very bright window. For a shaded window, a counter or indoors, a tablet is more than enough — and costs nothing if you already have one.
